1 mile Run
1 mile Run
In memory of Navy Lieutenant Michael Murphy, 29, a Navy SEAL of Patchogue, N.Y., who was killed in Afghanistan June 28th, 2005.
This workout was one of Mike's favorites and he'd named it "Body Armor". From here on it will be referred to as "Murph" in honor of the focused warrior and great American who wanted nothing more in life than to serve this great country and the beautiful people who make it what it is.
Partition the pull-ups, push-ups, and squats as needed. Start and finish with a mile run. If you've got a twenty pound vest or body armor, wear it.

Come join us at The Brass Tap Wiregrass as we sponsor this month’s Cocktails & Connections social on July 12, 530-730p. Connect with like-minded local business owners in the area, or just kick back and have a drink or two or three with us! It’ll be an Olympic theme so bring out your gold, silver, or bronze and let’s post up some world records.
On Wednesday July 4th we will have 2 Classes at 8:30 and 10:00.
The rest of the day will be spent celebrating with friends and family. Our July 4th Hero Workout will not be a Crossfit Named Hero workout. Instead, let's honor someone that hits close to our AERO Family. Coach Bre has a 4 year old cousin named Avery who was diagnosed with Heart Failure and is currently on the Heart Transplant waiting list. She is staying at John Hopkins Children's Center in Baltimore. To learn more, please go to https://caringbridge.org/visit/averydoehne to learn more about Avery's journey and fight.
This is not a fundraiser, we will not be raising money on July 4th. Instead, this is simply a way for us to bring awareness to this terrible disease and show support towards Avery and her family.
We are naming the workout "BR-AVERY"
In honor of our Independence Day, we will be doing Hero Workouts July 2nd-July 7th. These workouts will be programmed as Partner workouts. If you decide to tackle these alone, please do not complete more than 3 Hero workouts in a row and no more than 4 total.

The next stop in finding the World’s Fittest Man and Woman is the Regional phase which will be held in West Palm Beach FL this year. It would be a blast to get a bunch of us together and go represent AERO there. There are hotel discounts available through the games website (where you registered for the open). Suggestion - book yours at the Hilton Convention Center. It’s attached to the venue where the competition will be held. It’s about $40 more a night but figured what I’d pay in parking or ubering it would even out. We will get more details out on social media regarding car pooling and sharing rooms etc.. BTW they have bars open to spectators. - JW
Our very own Evander “Lion Heart” Lamourt will be lacing up the gloves and stepping in the ring for a professional boxing match. The fight will be held in St. Petersburg. If you are interested in attending please let him know as he still has VIP tickets ($85 each) and General Admission ($45 each) available. There are about 10 of us that are confirmed to be heading down there to show our support. The more of us the better as always.
Come out and show your support as several of our teams from AERO will be competing at WWIII taking place April 14th-15th in Dunedin, FL and presented by CrossFit Manta Ray. This family fitness festival has something for everyone, featuring kids, teens, novice, intermediate, masters and RX divisions. http://www.wodwarsfl.com/
